Nowadays the only thing that never changes is that there is always a change somewhere. Welcome to the Information Age! The problem is that the vast majority of humankind is not prepared for these changes or for adequately adapting to them. It's because the whole educational system is still operating in a world that no longer exists. For those of us who are sandwiched between both ages self-directed learning can be a key lifesaver.
