Guide To Casino Gamble. Where to gamble online?

By: Donna Norman

Players who gamble online usually find the experience to be just as exciting and realistic as walking into your favorite Las Vegas poker room, however the trust factor is quite different. You wouldn't walk into a badly lit poker room built into an underground basement with filthy interior and shady individuals running the place and actually expect them to be an honorable business establishment, would you? The biggest problem with online poker room and casino gamble operations is that you don't have the benefit of seeing the location or the operators, you are only given an outward glance at the web site they have designed to draw you in.

What To Look For Before You Gamble Online.
There are several ways to go about discovering the authenticity and integrity of any online casino, poker room, sports book or bingo hall. If you're interested in gambling online, you're obviously a betting man or woman, so take the safest bet - utilize every tip offered in this article to ensure a safe, secure and pleasurable casino gamble experience.

The first thing you want to look for is casino gamble reviews. If you'd like to play online poker, go to your favorite search engine and look up "Online Poker Room Reviews", or something to that effect. Make sure the review offers a good deal of information, preferably with a rating system. Most are 1 through 10, 10 being best - some give up to 5 stars.

Read over the review and if it sounds like something you'd enjoy - thought I was gonna say go there, didn't you? nope - look up that specific poker room to find more reviews. Always read at least 3 detailed reviews for the poker room. Compare the information to make sure it matches up, especially the technical information: What year were they established? Where are they licensed? What software platform do they use?

If this information matches up, go to the online poker room's web site, but don't sign up an account just yet! Scroll to the bottom of the page. Here you should find either an image, plain text, or at least a link offering the poker room's licensing information. This may be an image that says "Kahnawake", "Gambling Commission" or "CIGA" (Curacao Internet Gaming Commission) - so long as it matches up with the information you found in the reviews, it's sufficient.

If you can't find the licensing information on the main page of the casino gamble web site, and there's no link with the word "Licensing" or "License" in it, try skimming the 'About Us' page. If you still haven't found it, stop looking. Any respectable online gambling operator would make this information easily accessible. Begin the steps once more until you find a more reliable online casino, poker room, sports book, bingo hall, whatever online gambling suits your style. If you did find the licensing info, move on to the last step.

When researching where to casino gamble, you should always look for the 'Payout Percentage'. This information is crucial, because an online gambling operator that is not audited could potentially pay out very little, or nothing at all. Online casinos typically payout between 95% and 98%, which is very high when compared to most Vegas style casinos, averaging 80% to 90% payouts. Again, scroll to the bottom of the main page and look for a link that says "Payout Percentages". It may be an image rather than a link, saying "TST (Technical Systems Testing) Certified" or "Certified by Verisign". If the word Certified is in there, that's probably it. If you can't find this, try looking for "Fair Gaming" or "Responsible Gaming".

You should be able to view the payout percentages directly, meaning in a PDF or other Image format, displaying the actual document supplied to the online casino by an independent auditing firm - not just a table on the web site showing the supposed payout percentages for the last however many months. For instance, I just looked at an online casino that appears to provide all of the necessary information, including a link stating "Feel free to Download our payouts report in PDF format HERE" (with HERE being a clickable link). However, when I clicked the link, the page does not exist. End result? I would never gamble here. Sorry guys, fix your page or I can't trust you!

This may seem like a boring, time consuming process, but hey, it's your money! By conducting the proper research, you can stumble upon the perfect casino or poker room for you to gamble online, thereby never having to repeat this process again (yay!). Just remember, the Internet can be a fantastic venue to gamble online, so long as you know what to look for.
