How To Get A Girl To Like You: Win Her The Right Way

Everyone dreams of finding their significant other but there's always one problem: for most people, it usually takes time and it usually takes other failed relationships to know what you should and should not do and guys most likely know this better than anyone else. So here's a few tips that men should try to get a girl to like them.

1. First and most importantly, be yourself. I can't stress this enough. By being yourself around the girl you like, you're showing her that you're confident enough to allow her and others to see who you truly are and what you're like. If you put on a macho exterior and you're really more of a sensitive guy, women see through that and it's almost immediately a turn off because they want to get to know the real you. They will most likely have feelings for the real you than the fake you. So do something different for a change...be yourself!

2. Develop a friendship, first. Take your time to get to know her on a friendship basis and let her get to know you. Gossip, tell her a harmless secret, share your pet peeves and hobbies, play games. Basically, do anything that you would do with your male friends such as watching a big sports game on television. However, some girls find sports boring, so don't take it personally if she turns down your offer.

3. Don't scare her away by rushing into the relationship. Don't tell her right away that you like her and want to be with her. Try being more subtle and send hints to her. Sending her simple hints in different ways like through text messaging or by complimenting her, you're making her feel more beautiful and confident to be herself around you. Once again, just take your time and be patient with her, however, what ever you do make sure that you don't send mixed messages. Don't make her think you like her one day, but then go around and do something she doesn't approve of or that you know that she doesn't like.

4. Don't bad-mouth other people, especially your exes or her friends. Every girl is curious to know why past relationships didn't work. Was it on your account or the girl's account? Do you or she say something that made the relationship end badly? Is it something you regret? Also, even her friends did or said something that you didn't like or didn't approve of, under no circumstances should you say something against her friends. There's a reason why she's friends with certain people. So if you already don't like her friends before you start a relationship with her, she will not even consider being more than friends with you.

5. Prove that you're independent. Show that you don't rely on your parents, friends, or family members for money or anything else. By showing your independence, you'll have her wondering what it's going to be like if she decides she wants to date you and give it a shot.

6. Use humour. There's nothing better to get a girl to like you than by making her laugh. Show your goofy side without being immature about it. Be funny in public without embarrassing her. If a man can make a woman laugh and put a smile on her face, you're already halfway to snagging the girl.

7. Dress nice and look approachable. Now, I'm not telling you that you should wear Gucci or Marc Jacobs, but do however show that you can dress yourself nicely. No one wants to be seen with a sloppy man. By looking presentable, she will give you a second look and feel comfortable being in your presence.

8. Be a gentleman and a romantic. By doing those little things, you will get her attention immediately. So go ahead. Open the door for her, pull her chair out when she goes to sit down, treat her to lunch, send flowers. Before you know it, she'll be craving more and will most likely give you a chance as her boyfriend. Just don't go overboard by bombarding her with gifts or she'll be annoyed.

Getting a girl to like you is not as hard as it seems. By keeping these tips in mind and keeping her feelings close to your heart, you should have no problem getting her to like you (unless of course she already has a boyfriend that she loves dearly).
