As the popularity for golfing enthusiasts to head to Spain to endulge in their passion increases, so does the popularity for purchasing homes on newly constructed golf resorts in this country. These properties are being snapped up not only by those who play golf themselves and are purchasing as a permanent or semi-permanent home, by those relocating to Spain and looking for a modern home in beautiful surroundings, but also by wise investors seeking a good spanish property investment and who see these as an ideal “buy to let” opportunity.

The resorts are well located as they are situated on the outskirts of the town of Jumilla and are close to traditional villages and other popular towns, and still within an hours reach of airports and the beautiful blue flag beaches of the Spanish Mediterranean coast.
The best time to buy these properties is now, in the early stages of the development and to buy “off-plan” before the properties are built as prices will inevitabley soar as the building progresses. Many purchasers buying at this stage will “flip” their properties on as soon as the property and surrounding areas are completed and will realise good profits from their initial investment. Others will go on to complete the purchase, retaining the home for themselves or leasing out the property. A big appeal of purchasing a property on these resorts from a “renting out” point of view is that the property can possibly be rented out all year round and not just during the summer period as due to the beautiful climate here in Spain, golf can be played throughout the year.
