Goa is the place for Christmas and New Year’s Eve revelry. This premier beach destination of India is simply rocking during the last week of the year and is a popular location for locals and tourists to spend their New Year’s Eve. What is it that makes Goa so popular during this time of the year? Tropical beaches, spectacular churches, water sports, rave parties, bars and pubs and the delicious Goan cuisine. A joyous occasion like New Year deserves to be celebrated with all the merriment possible. And where else in India can this happen, at Goa of course. Goa is an erstwhile Portuguese colony along the shores of the Arabian Sea. This small coastal state is divided in two districts or talukas, named North Goa and South Goa.
