My father never said the words, I love you. He was a quiet man, never verbalizing his feelings. Yet, we kids knew he loved us because of all the things he did for us. He built our summer lakeside cabin, helped us learn to water-ski, made a pontoon boat, put out the dock every summer. He left us a legacy of love we can pass on to our children and grandchildren, where we will always remember the love he showed us.
