Sliding doors are not always a good thing; anyone who has seen the eponymous late 90's rom-com that catapulted Gwyneth Paltrow on her way to super-stardom will know that you are always just one sliding door away from your destiny being changed forever...sometimes for better, sometimes for worse. Now, in the film the protagonist is affected by metaphorical sliding doors as opposed to actual sliding wardrobes, something that has a little less mainstream appeal in a Hollywood movie...however, you never know, perhaps there could be a sequel looming starring Gwyneth as a carpenter with a lot of life choices to make!
