Neutralizing Acid In The Body

The food we eat combines with oxygen to produce energy. But after it is burned the food turns to acidic waste which enters the blood stream. This waste material is excreted through perspiration and urinating but our bodies are not always able to keep up with the demands. That’s why it’s important to do our part to assist in neutralizing acids in the body.

It’s awfully difficult for the body to get rid of all the waste we produce because of the foods we eat, the drinks we consume, environmental factors, and the lifestyles we live. Pollution actually kills healthy cells turning them into acid waste which is then stored in the body.

For us to remain alive our cells and our blood has to remain a bit on the alkaline side, so the body converts this acidic waste into sold which means it cannot influence the PH of the body.

These solid waste materials are found in the form of fatty acid, cholesterol, uric acid, urates, kidney stones, phosphates, and sulfates. Aging is actually the accumulation of these wastes in the body. So you can instantly see why neutralizing acid in the body would be beneficial to our overall health.

Cholesterol is a result of not enough exercise and too much pasta or bread. Uric acid is the result of eating meat. Phosphoric acid is the result of rice, some grains, and carbonated beverages. Sulfuric acid is the result of eating egg yolks. Obviously we can reduce or eliminate some of the food categories but if we are going to eat we are going to generate acid within the body.

The problem is that both phosphoric acid and sulfuric acid are poisonous to the body and therefore they need enough alkaline minerals to neutralize them so they do not harm the body. If there isn’t enough alkaline minerals to accomplish this calcium is taken from the body to neutralize the acid. The result is osteoporosis which we are all familiar with.

Acid waste also causes the blood to coagulate which clogs up the arteries and the capillaries. That’s the reason so many older adults must take blood thinners. And depending on where this acidic waste is stored it can result in damage to your organs which then lead to degenerative diseases.

It is believed that cancer may also be the result of too much acid in the body. Healthy cells are alkaline. When the cells are not alkaline enough they can mutate and turn to cancerous cells. If the acid condition remains in the body tumors will return. In order to stop the development of the cancer tumors the alkalinity in the body must be increased. Some oncologists recognize this and administer alkaline treatments after the removal of cancerous cells.

You can quickly understand why neutralizing the acid in the body and then removing it from the body is so very important. To neutralize the acid you need alkalinity. You should ensure that you eat plenty of foods that are alkaline

Some of the more common alkaline vegetables include broccoli, garlic, asparagus, celery, carrots, cauliflower, sprouts, and alfalfa. Common alkaline fruits include apples, banana, cantaloupe, cherries, grapes, grapefruit, lemons, oranges, peaches, pears, and pineapples. There are many alkaline foods that can reduce the acid in your body.

Neutralizing acid in the body will slow the aging process; prevent osteoporosis, heart disease, and cancer. Eating the right foods will ensure acid is removed from the body.
