Many of the other popular racing circuits only involve local or national championships; therefore, Formula One racing becomes a little bit more exciting. Formula One racing is a sport that draws attention from individuals from all different age groups mostly due to the excitement.

With a wide variety of different race track locations and expensive ticket prices many individuals are unable to travel to a race or afford the tickets.

Fans are able to watch drivers qualify for track positions, practice, and race. The races are fun because different racing circuits have a different racing surfaces. Many race tracks have the traditional asphalt surface while other races may occur on city streets. There are hopes in the future to develop a race track in a desert setting.
As with NASCAR and other popular racing programs Formula One racing uses a points system to determine who will be the World Champion at the end of the season. Points are awarded to drivers after each race. The amount of points that a driver receives depends on the position that they finished the race in. The better a driver finishes the more points they are likely to accumulate. The more races that a driver wins the more their chances of becoming a champion increases.
Formula One racing has been popular in a specific portion of the world since it was first developed. As Formula One continues to expand their racing circuits and publicity tours it is likely that a lot more fans will develop all around the world.
